Meet the Team

(Spoiler alert): it’s just me for now.

My journey to founding Pioneer Local was anything but typical. After graduating high school, I served six years in the Army and enrolled at the University of Cincinnati online during my time in service.

When my contract ended, I planned a two-week trip to Ireland to celebrate. That short vacation turned into an 11-month adventure spanning 37 countries…and I was hooked. Traveling became my way of life.

Over the next seven years, I explored 30 more countries, living out of a backpack and immersing myself in different cultures.

Eventually, I found my way back home to Cincinnati, OH, ready for the next chapter of my life. Working full-time as a maintenance technician for a local property management company by day and taking digital marketing classes at night, I interacted with small business owners on a weekly basis.

I asked them about their businesses. About their dreams, goals, ambitions. I listened as they shared their struggles, especially when it came to building their online presence and adapting to the digital world. Their challenges resonated deeply with me.

That's when I realized my true calling: I want to help local businesses grow and succeed online.

I understand how overwhelming it can be to run a business while trying to build an online presence at the same time. It’s more than just having a website or posting on social media, it’s about connecting with the community and standing out.
